1. Acceptance
By browsing https://www.kzextermination.ca or using services provided by KZ Extermination ("KZ Extermination", "we"), you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept, do not use the site or our services.
2. Services offered
KZ Extermination provides residential and commercial pest control services for pests commonly encountered in Quebec: ants, cockroaches, mice, rats, wasps, hornets, bed bugs, and boxelder bugs.
Service is offered primarily on Montreal's South Shore and across Greater Montreal. All work is mobile — we have no public office.
3. Quotes and pricing
Quotes provided by phone or via the online form are free and no-obligation. A verbal or written phone quote is an estimate based on the information provided; the final price may vary after on-site inspection if observed conditions differ from those described.
Treatment begins only after explicit confirmation by the client (verbal or written). Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of intervention.
4. Optional follow-up
Depending on intervention type, a 30-, 60-, or 90-day follow-up visit or call may be scheduled at the client's request. The follow-up is not automatically included in the price of the initial intervention; the terms and any applicable fees are communicated when booking. The follow-up is not a results guarantee; it confirms or completes the initial work.
5. Client responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information when requesting a quote;
- Allow access to the zones to be treated;
- Follow the preparation instructions provided by KZ Extermination before the intervention (see our preparation guides at https://www.kzextermination.ca/en/preparation);
- Follow post-treatment recommendations (waiting periods before cleaning, entry points to seal, etc.);
- Notify us promptly of any unusual reaction (allergy, pet exposure, etc.).
Poor preparation or non-compliance with instructions can compromise treatment effectiveness. In that case, KZ Extermination cannot be held responsible for an unsatisfactory result, and additional visits will be billed separately.
6. Limitation of liability
Pest control services follow industry best practices (Integrated Pest Management — IPM) and use Health Canada approved products. However:
- Pests are living organisms and their behavior is not entirely predictable;
- Treatment effectiveness depends on client preparation, the environment, the presence or absence of nearby infestations, and other factors beyond our control;
- We do not perform sealing of entry points — we provide an exclusion report identifying openings to seal. The quality of sealing performed by the client or their contractor directly affects re-infestation prevention.
Subject to mandatory legal provisions, KZ Extermination's total liability for any damage resulting directly or indirectly from its services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant intervention. KZ Extermination shall in no case be held liable for indirect, incidental damages, or loss of revenue.
7. No results guarantee
KZ Extermination commits to using professional methods, approved products, and structured follow-up. However, no guarantee of result is offered or implied, due to the factors beyond our control listed in section 6. In case of re-infestation after treatment, additional visits are available at standard rates.
8. Cancellation and rescheduling
Any cancellation or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellation or no-show may result in travel fees.
9. Site intellectual property
The content of this site (text, images, structure, code) is the property of KZ Extermination or its licensors and is protected under Canadian copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
10. External links
Our site may contain links to third-party sites (Google Maps, Google Reviews, etc.). KZ Extermination has no control over the content or practices of those sites and cannot be held responsible for them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. The last-updated date appears at the top. Continued use of the site or services after a change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute relating to these terms or services provided by KZ Extermination falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Longueuil, Quebec.
